Dr. Robert Milin graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa where he completed a residency in Psychiatry, following up with the completion of dual fellowships in Child and Adolescent, and Addictions Psychiatry. Dr. Milin is an Associate Professor of the Division of Addiction & Mental Health at the University of Ottawa, Department of Psychiatry. As a clinician he serves as the Director of the Adolescent Day Treatment/School Unit, Youth Psychiatry Program at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre and was the Founding Clinical Director of the Youth Program. He also serves as the Consulting and Advisory Psychiatrist to the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre, a provincial center for residential youth addiction treatment. Dr. Milin has given over 200 peer-reviewed and invited presentations and has had his clinical research cited over 800 times.
