Dr. Khashayar Esfahani

MD CM, Msc, FRCPC

Dr. Khashayar Esfahani graduated from McGill University, where he also trained for his Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology residences. Following his medical training, Dr. Esfahani shifted his focus to medical research by enrolling the Clinician Investigator Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada while completing a Master's in Experimental Medicine, as well as securing prestigious awards such as the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) fellowship.

Dr. Esfahani's medical practice includes the treatment of patients with skin cancers, head and neck cancers and renal cell carcinomas. As an associate member of the McGill's Center for Translational Research in Cancer, his research interest is focused on finding novel predictors for toxicities on cancer immunotherapies, and he has numerous key publications in high impact journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, and the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
