Dr. Jeffrey Zapawa is a graduate of Wayne State School of Medicine, with a completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology in Dearborn, Michigan. Dr. Zapawa served as medical staff Vice President and Department Chairman as well as Chief of Staff in 2017-2018. Dr. Zapawa developed the interventional radiology service line, functioned as an educator with residents and medical students, and redeveloped the professional review committee. In April 2018, Dr. Zapawa accepted the position of Chief of Imaging at the Fayetteville VA Hospital System and is responsible for radiology services.

Dr. Zapawa is certified by the American Board of Radiology and is also a member of the North Carolina Medical Society. He remains in active practice in both diagnostic and interventional radiology.
