Dr. Hamilton Hall is a Professor with the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto and a practicing Orthopod on staff at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Hall is also the co-founder and Medical Director of the Canadian Back Institute (CBI Health Group) and has contributed to the editorial boards of several publications, including Spine, The Spine Journal and The Back Letter.

In addition to a busy clinical practice, Dr. Hall maintains membership in the North American Spine Society, the Canadian Orthopaedic Association and the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine.

Dr. Hall has been the recipient of many honours, including the Laurie Chute Award for the best undergrad clinical lecturer at the University of Toronto and the Henry Farfan Award, granted by the North American Spine Society for outstanding contributions to the field of spine care.
