Dr. David Lipson

MD, FRCPC

Dr. David Lipson completed medical school at The University of Western Ontario, and a Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at McMaster University with additional fellowship training in Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation. He is certified by both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Lipson maintains a clinical practice as the team Physiatrist and consultant on the Complex Neuro Rehab Ward, at the world-renowned Providence Healthcare, as well as an active outpatient practice providing services to patients experiencing complex pain issues, neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Lipson is also the head of the Division of Physiatry for Providence and serves as Vice President of the Medical Staff Association.

As a lecturer with the University of Toronto, Dr. Lipson is frequently involved in the preceptorship and training of medical students, residents and clinical fellows. Dr. Lipson also contributes time to research and is a publication advisor with the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
